    Since 1990, I have been creating symbolic heart images across various media, including painting, drawing, and printmaking. Later, when I began working extensively with computers in 1993, I incorporated this imagery into my digital works. Here are some samples.

    These composite images have been created from material found on a discarded ancient SD card in a classroom trash can. The photos stored on the card never appear the same, as the corrupted sectors of the card are interpreted differently each time an image is opened. Additionally, different programs interpret the corruption in varying ways.…
